Reminder....No School on Monday, October 9, 2023 - Teacher In-Service Day.

Forklift Training Classes to be offered at Avenal Adult School on October 14-15, 2023. Please call 559-386-1369 if you are interested. You would need to come in person to fill out two applications. Seats are limited and so it will be first come, first serve.

Reminder today September 28th a the RSMS, The City of Avenal is co-sponsoring with the Fresno Area Hispanic Foundation (FAHF). It will be a resource fair style event, with cash prizes and items being given to the community members and families that attend. We plan to have food, music, and special guests at the event. We hope you can join us!

Es importante recordar que durante el verano podemos proteger nuestra salud y el bienestar de la comunidad. El Departamento de Salud Pública de California reitera que todas las personas mayores de 6 meses deben vacunarse contra el COVID-19 y mantenerse al día con una dosis de refuerzo cuando sean elegibles. Los expertos en salud nos recuerdan que hacerse la prueba y recibir tratamiento temprano para el COVID-19 y la gripe es la mejor manera de prevenir enfermedades graves. Algunos sitios de prueba pueden recetar medicamentos a las personas elegibles que dan positivo.

It is important to remember that during the summer we can protect our health and the community’s well-being. The California Department of Public Health reiterates that everyone ages 6 months and older should get vaccinated against COVID-19 and stay up to date with a booster dose when eligible. Health experts remind us that getting tested and treated early for COVID-19 and flu is the best way to prevent serious illness. Some testing sites can prescribe medication to eligible people who test positive.
